Lick History

Lick was originally known as Lush. In 1993 Caroline and Kevin set up a store at the Perth cultural markets selling Caroline’s clothes and accessories.

The store gradually began selling retro clothes and business flourished. The Saturday markets became a meeting place for Caroline, Kevin, other store owners and their friends. It was a lot of fun and skilfully juggling socialising with business enabled Lush to move to a shop in Cantonment St Fremantle. Their presence at the cultural markets was greatly missed, while Fremantle began its ongoing collaboration with Lush, now known as lick. Lick began sourcing new labels as well as retro clothes and continues to stock labels that have become like old friends. The shop moved to its present location in 2001. Caroline and Kevin sold the shop to good friend Annette in 2009. The number of die hard customers that have left the shop in tears upon hearing that Caroline and Kevin have sold is testament to their great relationship with customers over the last 16 years.

Not to worry, they are still next door at Store.
